Welcome to Nursery.
We would like to thank all the parents for their support and encouragement over the past year!
Nursery’s visit to Lister Park.
We invited the parents for a picnic. It was lovely seeing parents join in with all the fun!
We had a visit from The Dogs Trust.
Some of the children fed and stroked Winnie the dog. We talked about keeping safe around dogs.
Hannah from The Zoo Lab came to our Nursery. She bought some exciting animals for us to meet.
A snake! 
The children were very brave, they touched the animals and described how it felt.
Summer 2 : We are learning about The Little Red Hen and our theme is Animals.

In Nursery we are learning about growing.
Please can you send a baby photo of your child into school.
We went on a Bear Hunt at Lister Park.
Thechildren had lots of fun!

- We went on a ‘find Wally around school ‘ hunt.

- We had a visit from the Fire Service.

- The children got to sit inside the fire engine!

- We even tried their helmets on.

- They showed us their equipment.

E-Safety awareness.

- We talked about different devices that we use at home.

- Parents were really interested in the information we gave.
In Nursery we are learning about people who help us.
The children acted out the story of Goldilocks.
When learning the story of Goldilocks the Nursery children made and tasted porridge.
Nursery went visit the local allotments to look at the plants and mini-beasts. We had a great time digging, smelling , looking and tasting! Thanks to all the parents who came with us.
The children were fascinated to see and touch the wriggly animals that came to visit .
Look at how much fun the children are having on the new playground equipment in nursery. At the same time they are getting good healthy exercise.
Today we had a visit from some firefighters in their fire engine. It was very exciting!
A visit from the Life Caravan . Harold showed us how to keep healthy and we helped him get ready for Nursery.
Zia washed his face .

Sheza brushed his fur .
Hadi helped to clean Harolds’ teeth.

- We had a great time at our Christmas party…we all ate snack together…

- …and wore the party hats we had made.

- We had a very special visitor…Father Christmas!!

- He was very kind and gave us lots of presents for nursery.

- And we all got a small gift each.
We have been learning the Owl Babies story in nursery and this week we had a visit from some owls!

- This is Bubbles, the smallest owl. She was a bit lazy and wouldn’t fly to get her food!
-
- But she was given some worms. Yum yum!

- This is Molly, a Tawny Owl.

- This is Shadow, a Barn Owl.
-
- Lots of children let the owls sit on their arm.

- And the teachers too!
